When will I be able to get back to work after total hip replacement surgery?

You will have a follow-up appointment with your doctor 6-12 weeks after surgery. If your recovery is progressing as planned, most people will begin to resume some of their normal activities at this time.  If your job requires significant physical movement, it could take longer.
